Our 14-year-old dog Rita was put to sleep today. She was a great dog, and I'm going to miss her so much... I already do ;___;

This picture was taken in the summer in our cottage. It's in a forest that my family owns. That's where she'll be buried.

I still can't really understand that she's dead. I can imagine walking into the kitchen and seeing her there, just walking around, waiting for someone to give her some food.
But she's never going to be there again, coming to the door when I come home..

I feel sad. I often see animals more close to me than people. They'll never say anything bad or judge you, they don't care what you look like, they can't lie and they are always genuine. No matter how down I felt, I could go hug and pet her and I'd feel better. But now there's only left the empty bed where she used to sleep..

Sorry for this, I'm just feeling quite emotional .__.
